Free Zoom Gardening Webinar offered with Brainerd Public Library – Brainerd Dispatch

“Growing Hardy Roses Up North” will be presented by master gardener Jackie Burkey at noon March 8, via Zoom.

Learn how to grow beautiful roses that have been bred for our cold winters. No need for the tip of Minnesota and a lot of spraying – add color, texture and even fragrance to your garden with a few simple tips and an overview of many widely available cultivars.

Free Master Gardener Classes through the University of Minnesota’s Crow Wing County Master Gardeners will be held through December 2022. Monthly presentations led by UMN Extension Crow Wing County Certified Master Gardeners will discuss topics ranging from garden tools to water bottles. Master Gardeners are University of Minnesota trained volunteers whose job is to educate the public on a variety of horticultural topics. The educational effort of the Master Gardener Program is designed to improve the public’s quality of life and promote good environmental stewardship.
