Palmyra Public Library to Host Ocean-Themed Summer Learning Program

Palmyra Public Library will host a summer learning series on the theme “Oceans of Possibilities”.

Beginning June 1, families can register for the series at the library, located at 50 Landings Drive in Flightpath Sports Park.

The programs themselves will be held Mondays at 11 a.m. at Palmyra Grace Brethren Church (799 Airport Road).

Programs will explore the themes of oceans, marine animals, and environmental protection and conservation.

  • June 13: Andrew’s Big Show: Comedy and Juggling
  • June 20: Aquarium Adventure
  • June 27: Magic with Eddy Ray
  • 11 July : DKers juggling
  • July 18: Phredd One-Man Ukulele Band
  • July 25: Forgotten Friends Reptile Rescue

The library is also hosting college programs this summer, for which pre-registration is required. These programs will take place at noon outside the library, weather permitting.

  • June 14: Jerry Schneider: Possibilities for Pollinators (Learn about pollinators while making your own t-shirt – bring a white t-shirt)
  • June 28: Dive into the ocean of yoga with Pat Steely
  • July 19: Explore the Wonderful Wetlands with Lancaster Parks & Rec
  • July 26: Recycled STEM building project
