Davenport Public Library has partnered with Bethany for Children and Families to offer a series of programs focused on modern parenting

Kids don’t come with instructions, join this 5-week program to learn more about navigating parenthood in the modern age. Throughout this series, parents will receive tools and tips for having difficult and important conversations with their children in a way that promotes healthy discussion.

Sessions will take place on Tuesdays from April 5and-May 3rd at 5:30 p.m. at the |East branch and |Virtually.

Sessions include:

April 5and: Being a questionable adult

April 12and: Consent

April 19and: Online safety and sexting

April 26and: Sexuality

May 3rd: Healthy relationships

The Big Talk series is coming to the Davenport Public Library

Sean Leary is a writer, director, artist, musician, producer, and entrepreneur who has been writing professionally since he started at age 11 in the pages of the Comics Buyers Guide. A graduate with honors from the master’s program at the University of Southern California, he has written more than 50 books, including the best-selling books The Arimathean, Every Number is Lucky to Someone and We Are All Characters.
